    a dremel would make a mess in your tank-bone cutters are the way to go-way cheaper too

    I frag in the tank sometimes, but I try to do a water change also.

    The bone cutters work fine except in tight spaces. I have found a long thin blade screw driver works pretty well in these cases. I place the tip on the branch I want removed and smack the top of the screw driver using a pvc extender and a hammer. About 20% of the time, I do end up breaking a larger piece than desired (just reference my fragswapper listings for some of my mistakes ).
